MAXXIE Water Proof Lead

A simpler way to attach your dog's lead.

Make everyday walks easier with the MAXXIE Quick Clip Waterproof Dog Lead. Designed with a practical Quick Clip, and durable waterproof webbing, it takes the fuss out of attaching your dog's lead and makes cleaning up after muddy, wet or sandy adventures easier.

Whether you're walking around the neighbourhood, heading to the beach or visiting your favourite park, MAXXIE combines thoughtful design with everyday practicality.

A Dog Lead That's Easier to Clip On

Traditional dog lead clips can require you to squeeze a small trigger while trying to line it up with your dog's collar or harness. If your dog is excited or your hands aren't at their best, this can be frustrating.

The MAXXIE Quick Clip is designed to stay open as you position it on your dog's collar or harness D-ring, then close into place when correctly engaged. This reduces the need to keep squeezing a trigger while attaching the lead and is designed to make connection easier with one hand.

It's a practical alternative for anyone who finds conventional clips fiddly, including people with reduced grip strength, stiff fingers or sore hands.

Why Choose the MAXXIE Quick Clip Waterproof Dog Lead?

Easy-to-use Quick Clip

Spend less time struggling with the clip and more time getting out the door. The Quick Clip is designed to simplify attaching your lead to a compatible collar or harness D-ring.

Lightweight Zinc Alloy Clip

The lightweight zinc alloy clip combines strength and durability without unnecessary bulk. Its rust-resistant design and open construction help prevent sand from becoming trapped inside, making it a practical choice for beach walks, outdoor adventures and everyday use.

Waterproof Webbing for Everyday Adventures

The waterproof webbing is designed for life with dogs. From wet-weather walks to muddy tracks and sandy beaches, the lead is easy to wipe clean after an outing, helping you keep it ready for the next adventure.

A Fixed 150 cm Length

The 150 cm fixed length gives you a consistent distance between you and your dog. Unlike a retractable lead, it doesn't extend or retract, offering a straightforward setup for everyday walking and handling.

Load-Tested Clip

The Quick Clip has been load tested to 200 kg under controlled testing conditions. This is a test measurement, not a recommended dog weight or a guarantee of performance in every situation. Always consider your dog's size, strength and behaviour when selecting walking equipment.

Who is the MAXXIE Quick Clip for?

The MAXXIE Quick Clip is designed for dog owners who value comfortable handling and a simpler way to attach their lead.

It may be particularly useful if you:

• Find traditional spring-loaded dog lead clips difficult to operate.

• Prefer a clip designed for one-handed attachment.

• Have reduced grip strength or limited finger movement.

• Experience stiff or sore hands.

• Walk an enthusiastic dog who doesn't always stand still.

• Want an easy-clean lead for beach trips, park visits and everyday walks.

You don't need to have difficulty using a traditional clip to appreciate a more practical design. Sometimes, a small improvement makes the daily routine that little bit easier.

What is a Quick Clip dog lead?

A Quick Clip dog lead uses a specially designed attachment mechanism to simplify connecting the lead to a dog's collar or harness. The MAXXIE Quick Clip is designed to stay open while positioned on a compatible D-ring and close into place when correctly engaged.

Is the MAXXIE dog lead waterproof?

The MAXXIE Quick Clip Dog Lead features waterproof webbing, making it suitable for everyday walks in wet conditions and outings where mud or sand may be part of the adventure. The webbing can be wiped clean after use. Follow the product's care instructions for cleaning the clip and hardware.

Does the zinc alloy clip trap sand?

The clip is designed without an enclosed chamber for sand to become trapped in. This can make it more practical for beach walks and sandy environments. Rinsing off salt and sand after use is still recommended.

Is the MAXXIE Quick Clip suitable for people with arthritis?

The Quick Clip was developed to address the difficulty of operating traditional dog lead clips. Its design reduces the need to continuously squeeze a small trigger while positioning the clip. Individual needs vary, so check whether the mechanism feels comfortable and manageable for you before relying on it for regular walks.

Will the Quick Clip fit my dog's collar or harness?

The Quick Clip is designed to attach to standard D-rings on compatible dog collars and harnesses. Check the size and compatibility of your D-ring before use, and ensure the collar or harness is appropriate for your dog.

Is this dog lead suitable for large dogs?

The clip has been load tested to 200 kg under controlled testing conditions. However, this is not a recommended dog weight. Your dog's size, pulling strength, behaviour and walking environment should all be considered when choosing a lead. Inspect the lead, clip, collar or harness regularly for signs of wear.

How long is the MAXXIE Quick Clip Dog Lead?

The lead is 150 cm long, providing a fixed distance between you and your dog for everyday walks.
