The PAWLA Training Lead was inspired by our grandmother, Paula, a passionate dog handler involved in obedience competitions.

Living with arthritis, she needed a lead that was lightweight, easier to handle, and faster to attach and remove when entering and exiting the ring.

For small breeds like Toy Poodles, lighter and less bulky gear is a big advantage. A thinner webbing lead like our PAWLA option likely feels more proportionate to their size, which helps in a few key ways:
